IS THE MATRIX REAL? Any similarity between the movie and are actually state of reality are coincidence. The truth is however that any way you look at it the universe we exist in is not real. It is possible that we exist in a matrix but odds are actually reversed and we are the AI. Merely sentient programs meant to simulate humans in a matrix run by future humans to simulate various societal scenarios and past history. The matrix could be just one program in a government lab or there could be one in everyone's home in a super advanced future world we know nothing about. We could even exist on a alien world trying to simulate a now long extinct Earth's past history. Maybe your the only real or sentient one in any particular matrix and everyone else is just a controlled program. If you do have a real physical body like in the movie then there would be millions of reasons why you or your whole race is jacked into a simulated world. Odds are quite slim that your being used as an energy source for machines. If we do exist directly in what is called the real universe then it to is like the matrix. The pure thought of sentient consciousness is the only thing that is real if you really think about it. It is what this whole physical universe is fundamentally made of. The pure thought being that created it put our consciousness in this simulation for his own purposes against our will at that.
