My Life As A Daytime Vampire Only a very few on this planet exist as I do. As what you might call a daytime vampire. Perhaps I am the only one. It was 3027 B.C. in ancient Sumer somewhere in present day Iraq. Yes it was a lot better than it is today. I was about 33 years old and had just finished my daily swim in the Tigris River and decided to take a new way home trough a patch of dense foliage when I fell into a ravine. Next to me was a huge plant with a venus fly trap like top. It moved down and bit me. I was passed out for days. When I awoke the plant had died. Apparently in a hungered daze I had awoken briefly at some point and sucked the chlorophyll out of it. I soon realized that I had been transformed into a super human that could only live off of the blood of plants better known as chlorophyll which tastes like sweet sugar to me. Centuries later, after running into actual blood sucking vampires of the night, I conjectured that a regular vampire may have been weakened and stranded in the woods and brought the plant across which in turn bit me creating my ultra rare condition. My fellow villagers shunned me and I set out to explore the world. My powers are at their peak during the day, but are still quite formidable at night especially in moon light. I have none of the weaknesses of regular vampires. I have no problem with garlic, crosses, holy water, etc. I have gone up against a few regular vampires over the centuries and my strength is far greater than any I have ever met. All my powers seem to be far greater than these evil night dwellers including my flight speed. I went up against a super evil vampire in the early 1900's who claimed to have been brought across by one of the first vampires this Earth has ever seen. Whenever a vampire was actually able to get a bite of me he would immediately be poisoned by the mix of chlorophyll in my blood. This particular vampire used that logic and surprised me with an injection of human blood which did mildly poison me. Although it was short lived and I was victorious. I just celebrated my 5063rd birthday with a good bottle of chlorophyll and now as a scientist I am studying my powers with the benefit of modern technology. I hope to unlock how I am able to fly since there is no physical way I can, but I do. I feel if I can unlock this secret that the ultimate freedom to explore all of space, and time will be mine!
